Welcome to my latest project. I am building a 1959 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite with a little twist. I'm putting in a 3.0 V-6 SHO engine.

Got a transmission

Picked up a transmission for my project yesterday. Its out of a 91 Ranger. Its in good condition, but horribly dirty.Spent a long time getting it this clean even. Its going to take a little more elbow grease to get it clean again.
anyone have any good tips or products they use for this type of thing? I'm using engine degreaser, and some work better than others. The Gunk stuff i got on sale was crap and didn't do much at all.
